Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for speech, language, swallowing, and hearing across all age groups within the Special Education program.
Demonstrates expertise in assessment, development, and intervention strategies. Collaborates with staff to develop and implement IEPs and classroom adaptations. Delivers individual and group therapy, including services at community sites and homes. Maintains accurate documentation, billing, and Medicaid forms. Supports children in achieving independence and inclusive classroom participation. Provides staff and family training on communication tools and strategies. Participates in meetings, workshops, and community events, including parent conferences and CPSE. Supervises CFY candidates and offers ongoing feedback. Performs additional duties as needed in alignment with team philosophy. Full-time position offering $67,000–$69,000/year with benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off. Work is conducted in person.
