Job Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role provides routine patient care activities, clerical tasks, and organizational support in an acute care setting.
Assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring proper documentation and room preparation. Safely transports stable patients, maintains confidentiality, and handles equipment and supplies. Supports a safe and comfortable environment by replenishing supplies and responding to patient needs and emergencies. Communicates effectively with team members, responds to calls and patient signals, and reports any changes in patient condition. Performs unit-specific care tasks, adhering to skills checklists, and adapts care to meet patients’ developmental and cultural needs. Requires a CNA license, BLS certification, and preferred patient care experience; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Schedule: 7PM – 7AM, full-time position.
