The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO, provides specialized wound care to patients in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings.
They perform assessments, develop care plans, and manage treatment of complex wounds while educating patients and caregivers. Requires a Master’s/Doctoral in Nursing, licensure as an NP, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Position involves physical activity, travel (~25%), and adherence to safety protocols. Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
