The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the Director of Nursing, provides specialized wound care in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.

  • They assess, develop, and manage individualized wound treatment plans for patients with complex skin conditions.
  • Supervise nurses and medical assistants, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current NP license, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; active patient contact preferred.
  • Must have physical stamina, strong assessment skills, and reliable transportation for travel.
  • This field-based role involves exposure to biohazards, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
