Develops and monitors unit goals, staff staffing, and resource utilization. Acts as an advocate for patients and staff, addressing satisfaction and rights. Participates in policy development, quality improvement, and emergency planning. Recruits, mentors, evaluates staff performance, and promotes professional development. Ensures proper documentation, safety, and adherence to standards. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Manages budgets, staffing schedules, and educational programs. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, RN license, and BLS certification.
