Job Description
The Behavioral Health Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide at least 16 hours per week of psychiatric services for individuals with severe mental health challenges.
Ideal candidates are compassionate, collaborative, and have ≥3 years of outpatient psychiatric experience. Responsibilities include conducting medical assessments and supervising therapeutic medication use within personalized treatment plans. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on high-quality, person-centered care, with comprehensive administrative support including nursing, dictation, and clinical consultation. This is an independent contractor role, compensated hourly, requiring an active Oregon Medical License, DEA, DMAP, and professional liability insurance. No fringe benefits are provided; work is in person in Salem, OR, with 16-32 hours weekly. Candidates must be able to relocate before starting.
