Job Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role assists with routine patient care activities in a nursing unit, supporting patient needs and performing clerical and organizational tasks.
Assists with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and prepares rooms accordingly.
Ensures patient belongings accompany them and safely transports stable patients.
Maintains security, confidentiality, and cleanliness of equipment and supplies.
Supports a safe, comfortable environment by replenishing items and responding to patient needs.
Identifies patient condition changes, reports promptly, and responds appropriately to emergencies.
Communicates effectively with team members and adapts care to meet individual patient needs.
Requirements include a CNA license, BLS certification, preferably a high school diploma, and patient care experience. The position is full-time, night shift (7 PM – 7 AM).
