CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Orthopedics – Full Time

Job Description

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, this role assists with routine patient care activities and performs clerical and organizational tasks in a nursing unit.

• Supports patient admission, transfer, discharge, and room preparation.
• Ensures patient belongings accompany them and safely transports stable patients.
• Maintains confidentiality, cleans equipment, runs errands, and replenishes supplies.
• Assists in creating a safe environment, responds to emergencies, and communicates effectively with team members.
• Performs patient-focused tasks, identifies changes in patient condition, and reports promptly.
• Adapts care to meet patients’ developmental and cultural needs.

Requirements include a CNA license, BLS certification, preferably a high school diploma, and patient care experience. The work schedule is from 7PM to 7AM, full-time.
