Job Description
Seeking an ED Nurse Manager in Hot Springs, SD, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Responsibilities include:
Supervising 24-hour emergency department operations and ensuring safe, effective nursing care.
Performing emergency procedures like BLS, ACLS, transfusions, and pain management.
Assessing urgent health conditions, interpreting diagnostics, and developing care standards.
Collaborating with staff and providers to meet patient care goals and department strategies.
Leading staff orientation, education, quality improvement, and policy updates.
Supporting staff development, managing staffing coverage, and participating in hiring and conflict resolution.
Working with leadership to meet organizational and regulatory standards.Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, RN licensure in SD, 2+ years of acute care experience, and preferably experience as an ED Nurse Manager. Certifications in CPR, ACLS/PALS (within 6 months), and TNCC/ENPC (within 6 months) are required. Knowledge of EPIC is preferred.
Salary ranges from $83,000 to $100,020 annually, depending on experience, with full-time benefits offered.
