Summary:
The competent Nurse independently provides routine and complex care within a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. They develop long-term care plans, manage contingencies, and delegate tasks appropriately to other care providers. They meet professional competency standards, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The Nurse addresses patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administers medications following protocols, monitors treatment effectiveness, and documents care accurately. Additionally, they assess patient and family education needs, providing relevant information and resources. Qualifications include a preferred BSN, at least one year of relevant experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM.
