Job Description

This full-time Speech Therapist position in the Rehab department involves evaluating pediatric and adolescent patients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on speech, language, and swallowing needs.

  • Provide patient-centered therapy services to promote independence and confidence.
  • Establish clear, measurable, and relevant intervention goals aligned with patient and family needs.
  • Administer treatments based on evidence-based practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and case managers.
  • Work effectively with families and supervise students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to program development.
  • Require excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, CCC, at least one year of pediatric/adolescent experience, and licensure in Louisiana.
  • Must be able to stand, sit for extended periods, and assist with patient movement.
