RN Night Supervisor

Job Description

The RN Supervisor oversees nursing staff and patient care in a psychiatric hospital, supporting the Director of Nursing.

Provides direct patient care and ensures high standards of clinical care.

Supervises staff, evaluates performance, and manages resources.

Develops and monitors quality improvement programs and maintains compliance with policies and regulations.

Coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, assists with staff training, and supports equipment and product implementation.

Participates in incident review, documentation audits, and unit management activities.

Works closely with leadership to enhance patient outcomes and staff development.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, RN licensure, 2-3 years of psychiatric care experience, and strong leadership skills. The role involves direct patient care, administrative duties, and night shift oversight, with a focus on quality, safety, and team collaboration.
