Job Description

The Speech and Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating and providing direct patient care in an assigned facility, with potential administrative duties.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and strong communication skills.

Key duties involve screening, evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans, supervising staff, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, adhering to policies, conducting staff training, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires physical ability to assist with patient transfers and emergency evacuations, emotional resilience when working with compromised residents, and cognitive alertness.
