Physician – Obstetrics – Part-Time

Job Description

The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and referring to specialists as needed.

Responsibilities include managing a target of 20 patients daily, handling walk-ins, participating in after-hours call rotations, and ensuring timely documentation.

They support organizational values, deliver patient-centered care per ACOG guidelines, and supervise NP/PAs.

Qualifications include MD/DO, licensure in California, Board certification or eligibility, and post-residency experience.

Preferred skills include ambulatory care experience, medical Spanish, and proficiency in EMR.

Essential skills encompass communication, teamwork, problem-solving, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Must work flexible hours, participate in quality initiatives, and maintain confidentiality.
