Medical Family Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Family Therapist to join our team at the Chickasaw Children’s Village.

*Summary:*
Provide integrated family, couple, individual, and group therapy to enhance patient well-being. Collaborate with healthcare providers, conduct assessments, utilize evidence-based practices, and maintain documentation within electronic health records. Offer crisis interventions, contribute to program development, and participate in community outreach. Maintain professionalism, ensure compliance with policies, and deliver exceptional customer service in a supportive environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*
– Deliver various therapy services and conduct assessments
– Use validated tools to monitor progress and effectiveness
– Collaborate with medical teams and make appropriate referrals
– Complete documentation, reports, and participate in program evaluation
– Assist in grant development and community events
– Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant work environment
– Support team and organizational goals through ongoing training and adherence to standards

*Qualifications:*
– Masters Degree in a related field, with licensure or license eligibility in Oklahoma
– Minimum 2 years related experience preferred
– Proficiency in electronic health records and basic computer skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
– Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and environments
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful setting, including occasional irregular hours and weekends
– Pass pre-employment screening and drug testing
