Job Description

The *Pulmonary Unit Manager* oversees nursing care on the Pulmonary Unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, coordinating with other departments, supervising admissions/discharges, managing budgets, developing care plans, and ensuring medication and documentation accuracy.

They supervise staff, handle scheduling, conduct evaluations, and participate in quality assurance. They also provide direct patient care when needed and serve as a liaison with hospitals and community agencies.

Qualifications include a valid RN license, strong communication skills, knowledge of EMRs, and understanding of healthcare laws.
