Registered Nurse – House Supervisor

Job Description

Supervises daily operations of the med/surg unit and emergency room, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, cost-effective care within budget.
Reviews admissions for appropriateness and medical necessity, and ensures regulatory compliance.
Promotes a positive professional image and maintains strong relationships with local ambulance services and the community.
Works full-time night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am), 72 hours per pay period, with rotating weekends.
Requires an associate degree in nursing, current RN license in Iowa, and certifications in ACLS, PALS, and Trauma Nurse Core Course (within one year).
Three years of acute care/emergency room experience and supervisory experience preferred.
