Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Seeking an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner in Rock Island, IL, for onsite, multi-facility rounds. This full-time or part-time role combines clinical expertise with patient-centered care, focusing on infection prevention and control.

Conduct comprehensive exams and monitor patient conditions.

Prescribe treatments and develop care policies.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

Support infection control and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective communication.

Identify opportunities to prevent complications and reduce re-hospitalizations.

Requirements: Current NP license, master’s degree in nursing, 2+ years experience preferred, and ability to travel within a 20-25 mile radius. Must be willing to relocate and work onsite.
