Job Description
This full-time position involves providing comprehensive oncology care in a clinical setting under physician collaboration.
Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, history, and physical exams.
Recognize deviations from normal and assist in developing treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and evaluate findings.
Educate patients and families about treatment side effects and disease processes.
Coordinate care with hospital departments, external agencies, and participate in hospital rounds.
Enroll patients in investigational studies and assist with procedures and insurance authorizations.
Provide symptom management and support multidisciplinary team efforts.
Maintain current licensure, certifications, and knowledge of oncology management.
Demonstrate strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills in a healthcare environment.
