Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum to healthy retired Sisters and those in various phases of illness, including acute, chronic, and terminal.
Utilizes knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, and effective communication to deliver or delegate care. Communicates effectively with Sisters, staff, and healthcare professionals. Requires an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), graduation from an accredited nursing program, and RN licensure in Texas. One year of gerontology experience and supervisory experience are preferred. Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications is advantageous. Work is full-time, focusing on providing compassionate, competent nursing care in a supportive setting.
