Job Description

Seeking a compassionate and culturally humble Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner for a locums position serving the Rosebud Sioux community in the Great Plains Indian Health Service area.

Position Highlights

  • Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
  • Duration: Minimum 12-week commitment
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (1-hour lunch); flexibility for 3–4 or 5 days/week
  • No call required
  • Patient volume: ~15–18 patients daily
  • Scope: Ages 0–18, well and sick visits, outpatient care

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner
  • Active ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
  • Unrestricted license and DEA from any U.S. state or territory
  • No lapse in clinical practice over 6 months prior to assignment
  • Demonstrated cultural humility and commitment to underserved communities

    This role is based in a 35-bed medical/surgical facility serving the Rosebud Sioux Reservation, dedicated to improving the health of American Indians and Alaska Natives. It offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through outpatient care, embodying a commitment to health equity and compassion.
