Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the Director of Nursing, provides specialized wound care services to patients in home settings, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
They perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and execute wound treatments for chronic, pressure, surgical, and complex skin wounds. They educate patients and caregivers, coordinate with healthcare teams, and supervise nursing staff. This full-time role requires travel within the region, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active NP license, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Strong assessment, procedural, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and adapt to various environments.
