Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the Director of Nursing, provides specialized wound care services to patients in home settings, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

  • They perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and execute wound treatments for chronic, pressure, surgical, and complex skin wounds.
  • They educate patients and caregivers, coordinate with healthcare teams, and supervise nursing staff.
  • This full-time role requires travel within the region, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active NP license, wound care certification within 6 months, and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong assessment, procedural, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and adapt to various environments.
