Job Description
We are seeking a licensed Psychiatrist MD/DO for a part-time, contract role as a VA Disability Examiner.
Provide non-treatment, one-time disability assessments for veterans, focusing on mental health diagnoses/disabilities. Conduct in-person evaluations at designated or approved locations, with flexible scheduling and appointment times. Complete web-based documentation (DBQ) within approximately 30 minutes to one hour per veteran, with no ongoing care or prescribing involved. Receive one-on-one training on charting and exam procedures, with full coverage of hotel, flights, and meals for a training event in Oceanside, CA. Required qualifications include a current medical license and ability to attend the training.
Benefits include a flexible schedule and pay ranging from $200 to $400 per hour.
