Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Wound Care Provider (NP/PA) to join our expanding clinical team.
Position Overview:
- Provide expert wound assessment, treatment, and care planning in patients’ homes and care facilities within your assigned region.
- Work independently to deliver evidence-based wound management tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to care facilities and homes for wound evaluations and follow-up care.
- Develop and implement personalized wound care plans.
- Perform procedures such as debridement and advanced dressing applications.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on wound prevention and care.
- Document care accurately in EHR systems, ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate with healthcare partners for optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay current with wound care best practices and protocols.
- Maintain open communication with leadership.
Qualifications:
- Current NP/PA license in Texas with board certification.
- Preferred wound care certification and 2+ years of experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, communication, and documentation skills.
- DEA license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
