Part time/PRN Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Description

*Max Well Therapy is looking for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) to join our team! *

*We are growing and in need of a Speech Language Pathologist at our new location in Brighton, located in Laugh & Learn ABA Center. *

*This position would work at both our Brighton location and our Flint location (off Hill Rd). *

*The position requirements for this are:*

* Performs patient evaluations and administers treatments.
* Designs and revises plans of care and goals.
* Provides written and/or verbal reports to physicians.
* Completes documentation according to unit standards and regulatory requirements.
* Able to respect and understand patient’s right to treatment and right to be involved in treatment decisions.
* Able to maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the department/facility.
* Responsible for completion and submission of all reports pertaining to evaluation.
* Must be able to refer to other therapies in the clinic depending on patients needs.
* Conduct initial evaluations, and provide skilled speech therapy treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
* Make decisions and suggest ideas to improve the clinic and efficiency.
* Various marketing initiatives to support caseload growth

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

* Graduate of an approved school of Speech Language Pathology.
* Current license in Speech Language Pathology in Michigan.
* Pediatric experience is preferred
* Evening hours are preferred
