Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and treating patients via telehealth visits, including triage, video visit appointments, and follow-ups as appropriate
Utilize Epic for all documentation and charting
Work within a queue-based system, typically seeing 3–4 patients per hour
Work autonomously and collaborate with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles and monthly team meetings
Deliver care in alignment with CHRISTUS Health protocols and standards
Open 365 days a year, rotating schedule
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Active NP or PA license in the state of New Mexico (required)
Must reside in New Mexico (required)
Completion of an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
Nurse Practitioners: FNP certification with 5+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred (family medicine considered)
Physician Assistants: 5+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred (family medicine considered)
EPIC experience preferred; training provided
Strong communication skills; flexible, personable, and self-motivated
Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
