Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional urgent care services. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, collaborating with our team, and ensuring patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans for urgent care patients.
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, labs) as needed.
– Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care.
– Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
– Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
– Provide follow-up care and referrals to specialists when necessary.
Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) and current Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP or equivalent).
– Active New Mexico NP license (or eligibility to obtain one).
– Experience in urgent care, family medicine, or a related field preferred but not required.
– Strong clinical skills and confidence in managing a diverse patient population.
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
– BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
