Speech Language Pathologist – Clinic Setting, CFY Encouraged to apply!

Job Description

* *Full Time, Part time PRN! $5000 sign-on bonus! *
* *Come be part of a fast-growing private speech and occupational therapy clinic located in CNY! We are a medical specialty clinic offering Speech Therapy Services to both pediatric and adult populations! *
* *Speech Language Pathologist (CFY’s encouraged to apply!!).*
* *Lots of room for growth and career development. Potential to also start per diem/part-time and gradually move to full-time. *
* *Education requirements -Completion of Masters Degree and Completion of Praxis exam*.
* Provide direct one on one individual speech therapy in a private clinic setting.
* No Travel! No Home Visits! All Supplies are provided by the clinic, with your own office to work in!
* Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
* Evaluate hearing or speech and language test results, modified barium swallow results, or medical or background information to diagnose and plan treatment for speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing disorders.
* Write reports and maintain proper documentation, including the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
* Educate patients and family members about various topics, such as communication techniques for coping with or avoiding misunderstandings.

Hours per week: Flexibility to be per diem or part time grow case load to full time, or also able to remain part time case load based on what therapist is looking for.
