*Job Summary*
We are seeking a board certified psychiatrist to oversee and lead our ketamine and TMS leadership teams.

*Responsibilities*

*Clinical Oversight & Patient Care*

* Establish individualized treatment plans, dosing protocols, and ongoing medication management for patients receiving ketamine therapies.
* Provide supervision during initiation, titration, and maintenance phases of ketamine treatment.
* Review and co-sign advanced practitioner documentation as required by regulatory standards.
* Maintain compliance with *Spravato REMS program* requirements and ensure adherence to FDA and state guidelines.

*Supervision of Advanced Practitioners (PAs & NPs)*

* Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and case consultation for physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
* Review and approve treatment decisions involving controlled substances, high-risk patients, or complex psychiatric presentations.
* Support advanced practitioners with diagnostic formulation, medication management, and escalation of care when needed.
* Conduct regular supervision meetings to review cases, discuss clinical protocols, and ensure high standards of care.
* Serve as the final authority on patient eligibility, ketamine dosing changes, and transitions between ketamine modalities.

*Program Development & Quality Assurance*

* Develop, update, and enforce *clinical protocols and safety guidelines* for ketamine treatment.
* Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to streamline patient flow, scheduling, and documentation.
* Lead morbidity and mortality reviews, safety drills, and incident evaluations related to ketamine therapy.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including monitoring patient outcomes and satisfaction metrics.
* Stay current with *evidence-based research* on ketamine and interventional psychiatry and integrate findings into practice.

*Collaboration & Multidisciplinary Care*

* Provide consultation to internal staff regarding complex psychiatric cases and treatment-resistant depression.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and peer review sessions.

*Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities*

* Ensure documentation meets medical, legal, and insurance requirements.
* Maintain compliance with DEA regulations, controlled substance prescribing guidelines, and state medical board standards.
* Contribute to staff training programs and continuing education efforts within the practice.
* Support practice leadership in expanding interventional psychiatry services and outreach.

*Requirements*

* Valid Medical and DEA license in California
* Board Certified or Board-Eligible by American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $350,000.00 – $450,000.00 per year
