Job Description
Well established Bay Area physical medicine and rehabilitation medical group seeking part-time or full-time *Speech-Language Pathologist* to join our team in our outpatient multidisciplinary Brain Injury treatment program.
*Responsibilities*
· Assess and diagnose Cognitive-Linguistic disorders in adults with Acquired Brain Injuries.
· Collaborate weekly with other healthcare professionals, such as Physicians, Psychologists and Physical Therapists, to provide holistic care to patients.
· Conduct group as well as 1:1 therapy sessions.
· Monitor clients’ progress with screenings and rating scales.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client’s progress and treatment outcomes for worker’s compensation reporting.
*Qualifications*
· Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
· Current, unrestricted SLP California license.
· Strong CFY will be considered.
· Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred.
· Experience working with clients recovering from neurological injuries and illnesses.
· A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
· MoCA certification ideal.
· Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
· Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.
