*Physician-Owned well established family practice in central North Carolina looking for qualified physician board certified in family medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics, or geriatrics. *

*Asheboro, located in the center of North Carolina in the rolling hills of the NC Piedmont, offers:*

· Home of the NC Zoo.

· Small town feel, rich in art, places to hike, bike, boat, golf, and many other family activities.

· Within an hour of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, UNC Hospitals, and Duke University.

· The NC Mountains are two hours west.

· The NC Beaches are two hours east.

## Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion.

## Duties

– Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses

– Manage common health problems, including hypertension, diabetes, and respiratory infections

– Perform minor surgical procedures such as suturing lacerations

– Coordinate patient care with specialists when necessary

– Provide guidance on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices

– Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests

## Requirements

– Medical degree from an accredited institution

– Board certification in Family Medicine

– Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
