A growing, physician-led primary care organization is seeking a *Lead Family Medicine Physician* to oversee and guide care teams across *Central Wisconsin*. You’ll provide both *hands-on clinical care* and *leadership* to talented teams in *Stevens Point, Marshfield, and Wisconsin Rapids*, ensuring patients receive exceptional care in a model designed around time, trust, and relationship-based medicine.

* *Direct Primary Care Model:* Spend more time with your patients and less time on administrative tasks. Physicians typically see *8–12 patients per day*, allowing for meaningful, long-term relationships.
* *Team-Based Environment:* Collaborate closely with *Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs)* and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide *clinical leadership, mentorship, and oversight* to APCs and nursing staff.
* Serve as the *primary clinical point of contact* for APCs and perform regular chart reviews.
* Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Prescribe and dispense medications as needed.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records.
* Educate patients and families on chronic disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies.

*Qualifications*

* *Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician* (required).
* *Active Wisconsin medical license* (or eligibility to obtain).
* *2–4 years* of post-residency clinical experience.
* Demonstrated *leadership and communication skills*.
* Compassionate, approachable, and team-oriented demeanor.

*Compensation & Benefits*

* *Competitive salary:* $265,000–$300,000 (DOE).
* *Bonus potential* tied to patient retention and practice performance.

* *Fully paid benefits* for employees working 0.6 FTE and above.
* *21 days PTO* + *5 CME days* annually.
* *$2,500 CME allowance.*
