Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor collaborates with Nursing Leadership to oversee shift operations and ensure nursing care safety and quality.
They guide staff using sound human resource and budget principles, support patient and family services through interdisciplinary teamwork, and supervise nursing associates.
The role involves providing direct patient care when needed and coaching employees to promote clinical and service excellence.
Requirements include a graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred), active RN license in New Mexico, and current certifications such as BLS, ACLS (within 6 months), and PALS/NRP if applicable.
Preferred experience is 3 years; strong knowledge of age-appropriate care is essential.
They work irregular hours in a dynamic environment, handling emergencies, and exposure to infectious diseases and unpredictable situations.
Physical demands include prolonged standing, patient handling, and fine motor skills.
