Job Description
This leadership role reports directly to the Nursing Director and involves hands-on supervision as an Evening Charge Nurse (2pm-10pm).
Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing person-centered care programs, training staff, and overseeing resident care, including assessments, care plans, and medication management.
It requires maintaining resident files, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves staffing, hiring, training, and participating in safety initiatives.
Qualifications include an RN license, CPR certification, experience in geriatrics and long-term care management, and leadership experience managing six or more staff members. Flexibility for on-call hours, weekends, and occasional travel is needed.
