Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner provides advanced wound treatment to homebound and long-term care patients across Southern California.

They must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program, hold an active California license, and be board-certified with prior wound care experience or certification.

The role involves traveling throughout Southern California, performing physical exams, wound assessments, debridement, and applying wound care products. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, proficiency with medical equipment, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Full mobility and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, prescribing medications, patient education, and participating in departmental activities. Flexible scheduling and travel are essential, with pay ranging from $275 to $575 per day. This part-time position emphasizes high-quality, patient-centric care within a collaborative team environment.
