Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) to join a 25-bed critical access hospital in Shell Lake, WI.

  • Work four weekdays in clinics with rotating ER call (4-6 weeks nights/month, every 4th or 5th weekend).
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostics, treatment, and preventative services.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, ER, and hospital call rotations, collaborating with staff to ensure quality care.
  • Utilize EMR systems, stay current with medical advancements, and promote effective communication.

    • Requirements include board certification, WI license (or in process), current DEA, and BLS, ACLS, ATLS certification (PALS and CALS preferred). Must provide compassionate care, maintain licensure, and pass pre-employment screenings.
