Mental Health Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient behavioral health team, providing ethical, client-centered services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The role begins in February 2026 and requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Licenses required include a current Iowa LMHC, LISW, or LMFT, along with a valid driver’s license and BLS certification within six months of hire.

Preferred experience includes excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and familiarity with the Epic electronic health record system.

Key responsibilities involve delivering high-quality therapy, establishing trust with patients, diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, creating individualized treatment plans, collaborating with other departments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
