Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles.
Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments and assists clients in identifying treatment goals and options.
Offers individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes, effects, and recovery resources.
Supports clients in accessing funding, employment, education, and rebuilding relationships.
Maintains accurate records, collaborates with other departments, and ensures compliance with laws and policies.
Provides community education and workshops, especially targeting high-risk populations.
Requires LCAS-A, LCAS certification, with preferred SUD experience. Full-time, in-person role with benefits, scheduled Monday to Friday.
