Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensing Specialist to ensure compliance with licensing requirements for mental health services.

  • Review and process license applications, verifying documentation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Research licensing regulations and updates in behavioral health.
  • Maintain records of licensed professionals and credentials for reporting.
  • Guide staff on licensing procedures and assist in crisis situations with resources and referrals.
  • Participate in training on cognitive behavioral therapy and child family counseling.
  • Stay informed on ICD-10 coding updates related to mental health services.


  • Qualifications: Background in mental health counseling or related field preferred; experience in behavioral health desirable; strong research, communication, and data collection skills; familiarity with crisis management and CBT is a plus.

    Details: Full-time position in Clinton, NC, requiring in-person work and relocation before starting. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
