Job Description
Responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech/language disorders as prescribed by physicians, aiming to restore function and promote independence.
Participates in performance improvement and quality initiatives, ensuring personal competency and departmental goals.
Performs assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and documents all activities accurately in medical records.
Provides patient and family education, addressing psychosocial and cultural needs, and collaborates with healthcare teams to optimize care.
Maintains departmental records, adheres to safety and infection control protocols, and contributes to organizational training.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, valid licensure, and preferably experience with geriatric populations.
Requires strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills, physical ability to perform clinical duties, and proficiency with basic computer applications.
Full-time position with benefits, scheduled Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts as needed, located in Ironton, OH, requiring in-person work and relocation prior to start.
