Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO, provides specialized wound management in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.
They assess, develop care plans, and treat patients with complex wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds, collaborating with healthcare teams.
Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active NP licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
This field-based role requires physical stamina, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently.
Essential duties encompass wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and education, while adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols.
