Job Description
The Licensed Counselor provides individual and group addiction treatment services to adults, developing personalized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and documenting progress.
Responsibilities include facilitating counseling sessions, collaborating with community agencies, ensuring patient confidentiality, and maintaining accurate patient files in compliance with regulations.
They work with medical staff to secure urine samples, participate in diversion control, and assist with medication and treatment adjustments.
Additional duties involve patient education, crisis intervention, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications include valid licensure (LADC, LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) or supervised registration, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to maintain professional development. Physical and mental alertness required for effective patient care and documentation.
