Job Description
This full-time Recreational Therapist position involves providing comprehensive recreational therapy services in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans for patients. Maintain medical records and ensure patient safety while promoting physical health. Work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Participate in staff meetings, adhere to facility policies, and supervise students and volunteers. Require a Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy, certification (CTRS), and training in Crisis Prevention Intervention within 30 days of hire. The role involves working in a clean, well-lit environment, with a schedule Monday through Friday.
