Job Description
The RN Supervisor oversees nursing staff and patient care in an acute psychiatric setting, working under the Director of Nursing.
Provides direct patient care and ensures high standards of clinical care. Supervises staff, manages resources, and evaluates performance. Maintains compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Implements quality improvement programs and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams. Assists with staff training, incident reviews, and care plan audits. Performs administrative duties such as staffing, documentation, and unit audits. Supports de-escalation and patient safety initiatives. Requirements include a BSN preferred, RN licensure, 2-3 years psychiatric experience, and strong leadership skills.
