Licensed Mental Health Counselor for Elderly

Job Description

We are seeking compassionate licensed *Mental Health Counselors* to provide therapeutic services to nursing home residents, helping them navigate emotional, social, and mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, and cognitive decline.

Provide individual and group therapy, conduct assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.

Collaborate with staff, families, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care.

Educate and advocate for residents, maintaining confidential records and participating in team meetings.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work; valid licensure; minimum one year of experience with elderly populations preferred; strong communication skills; understanding of geriatric mental health issues.
