Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech, language, swallowing, and hearing assessments and treatments for children across all age groups within the Special Education services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Develops classroom and home adaptations, models developmentally appropriate practices, and prepares therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals.
Collaborates with staff to implement IEPs, provides therapy services, and ensures inclusive programming.
Travels to community sites, monitors and documents child progress, and communicates positively with children.
Assists with transitions, evaluates children, offers staff/family training, and participates in team meetings and community events.
Provides supervision to CFY candidates, coordinates services, and supports family activities.
Other duties may include assisting with additional tasks as needed. The full-time role offers a salary of $67,000–$69,000 with benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
