Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing GI practice in Macon, GA, specializing in adult Gastroenterology and endoscopy.
Provides high-quality clinical care in office/hospital settings, assisting physicians with examinations, procedures, and care plans.
Reviews medical records, administers medications, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, and develops presumptive diagnoses.
Collaborates with patients and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment programs, and educates patients and families on medications and health management.
Performs history and physical exams, advises on health and prevention, and ensures departmental compliance with regulations.
Requires a Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, active APRN license in Georgia, and BLS certification.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team, and adapt to change.
