Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Conduct bedside swallowing assessments and recommend dietary textures.
- Provide direct therapy, document progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing techniques.
- Supervise therapy assistants and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, current licensure, and relevant experience. Preferred qualifications are CCC-SLP certification and experience in geriatrics or rehab.
