Job Description
Seeking a full-time Addiction Counselor in Idaho Falls, ID to provide individual and group therapy within a faith-based outpatient treatment center.
Deliver counseling services, including family and conjoint therapy, and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Document all sessions and treatment activities in Electronic Health Records per regulatory standards. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and evaluate client progress. Offer crisis intervention, educational groups, and community outreach as needed. Collaborate with a treatment team and contribute to program development and staff training. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or CADC certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and strong communication skills. Must be in recovery for at least 18 months, complete required training, and work with minimal supervision.
