Job Description

Radiologic Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in injury and disease treatment.
They must embody organizational values such as Sacred Trust, Personal Reverence, and Team Accountability, demonstrating commitment beyond tasks.
Qualifications include completion of a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT registration or eligibility in MRI, NM State Certification, current BLS certification, and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Responsibilities encompass performing radiologic exams independently, understanding and utilizing D.R., P.A.C.S., R.I.S., and E.M.R. systems, triaging exams, maintaining equipment, transporting patients, and ensuring confidentiality.
The role requires excellent communication, professional conduct, ongoing education, and adherence to service standards focused on Safety, Courtesy, Effectiveness, and Stewardship.
Physical demands involve exposure to radiation and body fluids, prolonged standing, and assisting patients with care and compassion, including interaction with potentially verbally abusive patients.
